There were tornado watches for this particular storm but its un-clear as to whether any had materialized. I understand convective thunderstorms, but I would not just stand there and watch something that huge that I can't? see under just roll over me like that, just like a tornado, hail is also dangerous, just look at what it can do to your car, people need to be more care, take cover and then determine if it is a dangerous storm.

Here in Ocean City we have a saying that if you don't like our weather to stick around for 10 minutes. Storms roll in and through here very quick. You can have a beautiful day like they had, a storm roll in like that and be back on? the beach in a half hour.

Why are the people on the beach so calm when a storm that? big is quickly headed towards them, I've seen people get out of a pool faster in Florida escaping a simple rain storm, lol. Storms are unpredictable, at least move your kids to safety.
